New Delhi, 06 February, 2014: BrainGainMag.com, South Asia’s largest online study abroad publication on higher education, will be hosting its first free Study     Abroad information session for school and college students and their parents on Saturday,   8 February, 2014 in New Delhi. The student session will be held from 2:00PM onwards on the second day of the One Globe 2014,an annual conference that focuses on building a 21st century knowledge economy in India and South Asia, by strengthening the linkages between economic development and creating an ecosystem for high quality inclusive education.The two-day conference is organized       by Salwan Media in partnership with Knowledge@Wharton, International New York Times, Brain Gain Magazine and US-India Business Council (USIBC).India’s External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid, will be the chief guest for  the conference, which features prominent Indian and international experts from   leading universities, colleges and schools including New York University, Arizona     State University, Harvard, IIT Rajasthan, University of Cambridge, University of Texas, Asia Scotland Institute, Pathways School, Kunskapsskolan, Going to School, Mahindra EcoleCentrale, Shemrock&Shemford group of schools, Edvance Pre-schools and Toddler Academy. On Saturday morning, One Globe 2014 is also organizing a special Breakfast Roundtable for School PrincipalstitledKnowledge Exchange: Foreign Universities for Indian Students, which will serve as    a platform for exchange of ideas between international universities and leading Indian schools to deliberate on opportunities and challenges in the education ecosystem in India.

Students attending the Study Abroad Information Session will also get to participate in an interactive learning talk on ‘Cracking the Ivy Leagues plus Oxford and Cambridge, co-led by Akanksha Bapna, Founder-CEO of Evaldesign and an alumni of University of Cambridge and Harvard University, and Kavita Singh, an alumni of Columbia and Oxford, and the CEO of Future Works, which provides one-on-one undergraduate and postgraduate admissions counselling, as well as programs to build key skills for today's world.Adobe, the global leader in digital marketing and digital media solutions, will also be hosting a session.
