PRINCETON,NJ 15 JANUARY 2014 –Zycus,a leader in source-to-pay procurement solutions, announced today that international technology company AMD (NYSE: AMD) has completed a transition to the Zycus Suite of Procurement     Performance Solutions and is achieving notably high adoption rates with Supplier Performance Management,         eSourcing and Advanced Spend Analytics implementations.

AMD began its upgrade to the integrated Zycus suite in 2011, replacing a standalone solution for eSourcing (Ariba) and legacy homegrown systems for both spend analysis   and supplier performance management.

AMD procurement executives say Zycus’ agility and attentiveness have been key components in the successful global rollout of the new solutions. Karen Martin, AMD’sLead Source Manager and iSource lead, notes that “Zycus brings extensive experience, support and responsiveness to the table.” That support, alongside Zycus’ core ease of use, automation and process efficiency principles, has led to consistent  and strong solution adoption.

Adoption of Zycus’ iPerform for supplier performance management has reached 100% across the Global Supply Management team, according to Katherine Berbel, AMD’s Lead Source Manager and iPerform lead, “100% adoption of the iPerform system gives us a truly global view of supplier performance and solid records retention. We are also   achieving greater collaboration   and process efficiency with suppliers since feedback is now automated and online through a supplier portal.”

Director of Procurement Garry Christie adds that Zycus iAnalyze for advanced spend analytics has been a huge value-add for his sourcing team. The solution’s intuitive user interface has been essential to enabling our global team to continuously improve their analytics and reporting competencies and has significantly increased our efficiency in meeting requirements to understand spending.”
