NRIPunjab: A Portal entirely Dedicated to NRI Punjabis launched Successfully!

Keeping in Pace with the technological advancement, Punjab Government recently launched a web portal www.nripunjab.gov.in which is “Entirely Dedicated” to the “Punjabi NRIs”. It was launched by the Deputy CM of the State; Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.

9th Jan 2014 Ahmedabad – Keeping in Pace with the technological advancement, Punjab Government recently launched a   web portal www.nripunjab.gov.in which is “Entirely Dedicated” to the “Punjabi NRIs”. It was launched by the Deputy CM of the State; Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal. Developed by Silvertouch Technologies Limited (The same company which was associated with Vibrant Gujarat website); this portal is a “single click solution” to a number of issues, generally faced by the NRIs when they visit the state. Terming the portal as a “Boon to the NRIs”, Mr. Badal further told that the portal provides all the important and useful information within a click. Sharing further details, he told that the portal offers an instant and convenient medium for the NRIs to  register an online complaint regarding anything. He further mentioned that an immediate action will be taken on these complaints. In order to make sure, that rapid action is taken against the complaints; the web-portal is also well-connected with the other ministries in the state.

Furthermore, the portal will also provide regular updates to the NRIs about the progress made by the state government in different sectors. In fact, the application for the “Privilege Cards” can be downloaded and submitted using this portal. Moreover, NRIs can also get details about different cities of the state, along with its history, culture and other necessary contact details. Not only this, the users can also get facilities of video conferencing and view a photo gallery getting more idea about Punjab. In other words, the portal intends to be an information-sharing and interactive platform, wherein the users can stay connected to their native, even while being miles away.
