On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Navi Mumbai First donated and installed Sanitary Napkin Vending machine at Panvel Bus depot, also sponsors Free Health Check- up Medical Camp for women which was organised by Panvel Rural Hospital at Panvel.

Navi Mumbai First Charitable Trust a registered public trust under Maharashtra Public Trust Act 1950 takes regular initiatives in organising various seminars, workshops and health check-up camps for deserving and needy people in Navi Mumbai, Panvel and its surrounding areas in Raigad.

March 10,2018-On the occasion of International Womens’s Day, &;Navi Mumbai First  has taken initiative to install sanitary napkins vending machine for ladies at different locations in Panvel and Navi Mumbai.

The work begins by installing a vending machine at Panvel S.T. Depot at Ladies Toilet where one has to inserts two coins of      Rs. 10/- each or 4 coins of Rs. 5/- each and get a pack of one  sanitary napkin containing three napkins in a pack.

As a part of trust’s social activity, Navi Mumbai First sponsored free medical health check-up camp for women in Panvel organised by Panvel Rural Hospital at Panvel on the occasion of International Women Day where pre-cancer detection test      kits were distributed in a special discounted rates, skin and leprosy tests were carried out free of cost. 

Renowned Doctor Shri Abhay Shete  of Ameya Clinic, Panvel has taken leading role in organising the medical camp.        Patients underwent health check-ups by the team of specialist doctors and were given consultations, medicines free of cost.

Speaking on these important initiatives Shri Rajesh Prajapati, President of Navi Mumbai First Charitable Trust said,Navi Mumbai First Charitable Trust is committed to undertake a number of social activities in larger interest of the community, especially in the area of health, education,sports, infrastructure, women empowerment and childcare apart from supporting a few other Not for Profit efforts by organising policy propagation seminars, camps and workshops”.

Shri Mohan Gurnani, Chairman of Navi Mumbai First Charitable Trust said,Spreading awareness has been our constant endeavour to contribute towards the development and wellbeing of the community at large.He further said, such kind of medical health check-up camps for needy citizens will be organise periodically at various locations in Navi Mumbai &; Panvel with the    help of various  reputed hospitals and doctors". He then invited citizens of Navi Mumbai & Panvel to come forward become member of Navi Mumbai First and contribute their best in such kind of noble work for the society.
