MUMBAI— SAP Gold partner vCentric Technologies, announced the successful go-live with SAP S/4HANA solution for Inox Air Products, one of the largest manufacturers of industrial gases and liquid form with over 38 plants across India.The implementation helped in major performance improvement.

INOX’s traditional SAP GUI needed advance interface for transactions and workflow based approval. This made S/4HANA the best-fit solution and provided a robust platform in-memory computing. With go live SAP Simple Finance on - premise edition 1503 SPS 03, there was huge improvement in execution of reports and a drastic reduction in downtime.

The migration was completed in three months. Mock migration helped in resolving all the technical and functional issues arising out of major technology changes in the application structure. All critical processes were tested and core operational issues were resolved to reduce the downtime and tackle the go live issues. The meticulous planning and relentless efforts resulted in fewer issues with no delays leading to an overall  smooth migration. The platform is further being scaled for mobile apps and analytics deployment. Analytical apps like daily/monthly and a yearly snapshot is also being developed along with transactional apps with workflow using  FIORI UI. Dashboards using BOBJ and LUMIRA for business users are being considered to enable access to analytical information. This will facilitate better and quick business decisions.
