Uzbekistan: Specialist doctors from New Delhi based BLK Super Speciality Hospital visited Republican Research Center of Emergency Medicine (RRCEM) as part of their Memorandum of Understanding and collaboration,  which enables cultural, educational, scientific and medical cooperation between both the hospitals. The visiting faculty from BLK provided orientation to the doctors on how to handle crisis and emergency situations. The visiting consultants also conducted OPDs, special lectures and knowledge sharing programs for the patients and medical staff.

RRCEM is the biggest emergency medical service provider in Uzbekistan and an Association of Emergency Physicians in the country. “We are happy to engage and contribute significantly to strengthen the capabilities of RRCEM. Our doctors shall continue their engagement programs with an aim to take highly specialised consultation to far-flung areas of Uzbekistan. The Hospital shall also work towards providing training to managers, doctors and allied health staff in order to inculcate knowledge that is necessary to manage emergency care successfully in Uzbekistan,” said, Mr. Naresh Kapoor, Executive Director, BLK Super Speciality Hospital.

Three senior & distinguished specialists from BLK Super Speciality Hospital visited Koksaray Diagnostic Centre, Tashkent for OPD and knowledge sharing session. Dr. Vikas Gupta, Director & HOD, Neurosurgery, BLK Centre for Neurosciences; Dr Yogesh Batra, Director & Sr. Consultant, Gastroenterology, BLK Centre for Liver & Digestive Disease and Dr. Neeraj Bhalla, Director & Sr. Consultant, Cardiology, BLK Heart Centre. This multi-speciality OPD helped over 350 patients, suffering with various health related issues.

Dr. Vikas Gupta also delivered a guest lecture to doctors at Republic Research Institute of Neurosurgery on Brain Haemorrhage.  Dr. Yogesh Batra held a session on Ultrasound Guided Endoscopy in City Oncology Centre. Both these lectures were received with warmth and grand reverence.  Dr. Neeraj Bhalla, Dr. Yogesh Batra & Dr. Vikas Gupta as a part of the knowledge sharing program delivered health talks at RRCEM as well.
